I've never had a problem with people not wanting to party with me or insulting me for wanting to party. People running to places doesn't bother me; it's their loss. For one of the ascension missions some level fourteen tried to join my party with his "I know this game like the back of my hand" attitude so I told him I want to actually play the game and he went away.

Then again, I always play with BJ so I always have at least one person to play with, and the guild we found is all about actually playing the game too. So I don't really have a bad community experience. The lack of auction house is terribly annoying though.
