The Halloween event in Ascalon required Charr Carvings to get the items. I'm assuming the others follow suit, though I haven't seen them going on in any other towns.

lol... I've been so cought up with maplestory that i dont have extra time to play GW... T_T i love the game though! so beautiful...

In Ascalon, you can get Ghost in a Box, Witch's Brew, Absinthe, and I think one other. I played around and got enough Charr Carvings and chose the Ghost in a Box, which just summons a ghost out of nowhere that says "Boo!" and disappears. Kinda lame, I think. I haven't tried the others.

There are 4 special Halloween items;

Abstinthe
Squash Serum
Witch's Brew
Ghost-In-The-Box

They can be collected at the Horsemen ------ in Ascalon (post searing) , Lion's Arch and Droknar's Forge.

Ascalon --- 3 Charr Carvings or 2 Grawl Necklaces
Lion's Arch --- 3 Decayed Orr Emblems
Droknar's Forge --- 3 Stone Summit Badges

First Image has the items in the second row in the order i stated above.
The subsequent images are the effects of the items in the same order.

NOTE: The 4th image of the Witch's Brew does not look different to normal it is in fact the effect of about 5 (so says my guildie) beers

Oh and Hsu, the ghost can be exploited for a necro's soul reaping abilities XD
