Hope I didn't get in trouble, I WAS being serious about not being and idiot during a thunderstorm.

I have to agree with the concesus here, i love thunderstroms and find them to be very fun to watch. I do think it is important that they warn people about them on TV, or in any other possible way, as they can really mess things up if you are not prepared. Its like, if you can get off work early, and get your kids from day care and go home, do so now, cause later - it is going to suck.

Here in Wisconsin, I always worry about them damn hick trucks with the 9ft CB ententa slaped on thier roof. I wonder if the people know it makes their huge trucks look like a glorified bumper car.

LOL! I grew up in Louisiana where it thunderstorms for days on end to the point where no one notices. Now I'm here in San Diego, California and here even a steady shower makes the headlines ROFL!!!

Thunderstorms are great. I love them when they're at night and I'm sleeping. For some reason I always sleep better when it's thundering outside.

Ha! In Scotland, call thunerstorms 'beach weather'. You should try coming to northern Britain! We never have hugely damaging or spectacular weather, but it's bloody damp!

I hate thunderstorms at night, they keep me awake. And we have the tallest tree on the street, if it falls, it falls into my room.
