Your ideal VII remake?

They would allow Jap voices I would think just because the Blue Ray discs are 56 Gigs in space. Something tells me they can spare it

I think it would be cool if when you go to the basement of the shinra mansion and other libraries in the game, you could read up more on people, and materia, and all sorts of little things about the story and game, and maby when your ead some books its shows a cut sceen to get more into detail about sephiroth and zack, and vincent.

I think I'd like the Dawn of Souls treatment personally ~ an extra dungeon with bosses/characters/enemies from other games in the franchise and perhaps additional side-quests and characters providing they complimented the central storyline. As a personal gripe I'd also like the option to play the game through with spoken Japanese dialogue if they're going to insist on speech during the FMV sequences (one of the biggest flaws, in my mind, of Kingdom Hearts was its Princess Mononoke-lite Western vocal cast).

And, just to be awkward, I'd like some kind of acknowledgement of your PSX memory card save. I don't care how, I'd just like them to acknowledge it and allow you to access those variants of your characters perhaps within a special arena of some kind ~ nothing that would knock the game out of balance by giving you too many advantages in the main quest but something to at least pat you on the back for working so hard on the previous incarnation of the game.

Yeah, at lease give David that-guy-from-Angel some coffee or something to wake him up before shoving him into the recording studio. "Leon" sounded like he was either permanently half asleep or on dope.

What about a portrait gallery in someone's house, or the Gold Saucer, that has the images from your PSX card as the paintings?

I would like to see some new graphics like they used for the Tech demo at e-3, similar to advent children. I would like there to be a spechial things, like 'reverse rebirth' for Kh: Com, where you play from either Sephs point of view or someone elses. But, i would also like there to be a quest where you play as someone esle, his name is Zach. YES, THAT ZACH. He is a major player, it would be hard without him. I think he deserves his own side quest, a flash back of sorts.

They are already making that. It's called Crisis Core, it'll be for PSP.

Zack: A Prelude

Zack is traveling with a half-conscious Cloud in the back of a truck. Zack talks about his current situation. They come to Midgar and Zack notices MPs approaching. You battle the platoon of MPs and Zack returns to Cloud. After being shot he flashes back to the events prior.
Zack has recently joined soldier and is accompanying Sephiroth and a bunch of MPs to Nibelheim to investigate strange occurrences at the reactor.
Zack wanders around, exploring the town and eventually, he and the others are off with Tifa toward the reactor. During the trip, one of the two accompanying MPs is lost after a fall off the bridge. How they later returned to town is anyone's guess.
While Cloud watches Tifa outside, Zack learns of the crimes of Hojo and watches Sephiroth begin his descent into madness. He later tells all of this to Cloud, venting his anxiety and frustration.
The big to-do of this quest is fighting Sephiroth. Win or lose (explainable as this is mere memory, which can be deluded), Zack pulls Cloud out of the Mako tanks and returns to reality where he is shot to death.

The White Sword: Sephiroth

Sephiroth learns of his creation and creates a fantasy of grandeur in which he is the sole heir to the planet as Jenova's "son." Deluding himself into believing Jenova was an Ancient who settled the planet, he hates all mankind for what they've done to "her" and the planet and the rest of the Ancients.
So his goal is to unlock the Ancient's Temple, obtain the Black Materia, and summon the destructive Meteor to cripple the planet.
When the planet's spiritual energy converges on the wound to heal it, Sephiroth will be their to inherit it.
However, along the way, he'll battle Avalanche and Shinra.

Hah! That guy...I really don't understand the thinking behind some of the casting. Watching the trailer of FFX last night (which I really should start playing now I've finished Shadow Hearts) didn't give me much faith in the voice talent on offer there either. But I digress...

I think that would be a great idea and a really nice/subtle nod to the progress you made in the original. ^_^

Id like em to fix all the text F-ups. and giv areis a miniskirt or somethin'. That dress of hers makes her look like shes gonna go into labor..... Make Vincent a proper character u dont have to F about to get....hes cool.....

I liked Aries's look a lot. It seemed brilliant to give her a more cury (or so I though) body. The RPG stnadard of a tiny chick kicking ass with magical powers is so redundant.

I think they ruined aries by making her all pettite in AC now. BOO!

Hmmm, I would keep most of it the same. I would keep the battle systems and level ups the same. Obvious change would be Graphics and Voice acting (But find better actors then FFX). The mini games could be improved and maybe add a couple more in. I would also include Vincent and Yuffie in the movies and ending.

The ability to turn off watching the summons would also be a good idea.

Yeah, I think he's referring to the ability related to what Freya used in IX. Where she jumped up out of the battle for several turns then slamming back down at the enemy. A useful skill...
