All life is fueled by a mind-numbingly huge ball of nuclear flame. Forget life, the whole UNIVERSE is an exercise in the power of unmitigated self-annihilation. The miracle is that, in all this, the power of creation still holds sway, and we chains of excited carbon molecules became anything at all.
