the guides must be different. i have the piggyback guide which says, and i quote "you will get blitz ace after you have used energy rain 80 time, regardless of success!"

Well it seems that they are wrong. Why would you be rewarded for doing something that you are not successful with? Do you get a good average for failing tests? Do you get first place for failing to win a race? No you don't.

Your guide is mis-informed. The overdrive needs to be successful inorder to obtain it. Nuff said.

blitz ace is the most powerful because it allows the most hits. Slice and Dice allows the second most hits, so it is second most powerful once you start hitting the damage limit[s].
