What? I'm sorry, but anybody who sincerely believes the IRA is done is being very naive. Whilst I'm sure it suits your agenda of blaming the victim and of appeasement, the fact is there is absolutely no transparency and not one person I know who's actually from Northern Ireland thinks they've done anything at all.

The IRA went on for so long because the British government released half of them from prison and raised the other half to a position of legal and recognized government. To you Americans: Imagine that ten years down the line you put Bin Laden in Congress. That'd be pretty analogous to this.
