i would say the leader of the world bank, the vice president and defence secretay wield vast amounts of power.

They don't, really. I mean, compared to the average wage-worker, sure, but there's not a lot anybody can do in our society without the people's consent. Say what you want about the "New America" that has come about recently; we still are a constitutionally-limited republic.

And "World Bank"? Give me a break. That's an affront to liberty.

Funny thing is I agree with a good half of what Dignified Pauper said. Well; I'd want a system I believe in to be in charge of the world. Same as everyone else. And currently America is pretty much the closest on Earth to such a system, thus my preferance for US dominance.
