Vincent was my favorite character. A dark, brooding man with a painful past. Seeking vengence and redemption for what happened to Lucrecia. That, and without Vincent, we wouldn't have learned as much of Sephiroth, Jenova, and Hojo's background which, while not exactly neccesary, is nice to have.
