There are a lot of bands Nirvana could be liked with, but on a musical basis. Cobain was influenced by people like the Pixies, Sonic Youth, the Raincoats, Melvins and the like. As for the number of bands they influenced, I think they are countless.

Well what I'm thinking is AC/DC wears not enough pants, and MC Hammer wears too much pants, AC/DC have a song called "Back in Black" and MC Hammer IS black. I think AC/DC is MC Hammer's favorite band.
