This is actually exactly the same thing that I do, only I look in Arts and Writing as well. I also tend to avoid threads that are already on the second page because 90% of the time I don't care what any of you have to say, and can't be bothered to read through it all to find out what the topic has degenerated to.

Edit: Also posts over a paragraph long tend to get ignored.
