Playing MKV File

I finished downloading Ira and Zeiram movie series but they're in this werid MKV format that i've never hered of, I've been to the web site for playing that kinda format ( http://www.matroska.org/ ) and i've downloaded a few things and i haven't really gotten far.... If anyone has any information about playing the files or if I can even change them into a different format, i'd appreciate the help.

I had a blood hell of a time trying to change them to a different format, but I can tell you how to play them. (I was unsucessful at converting them). Get The Core Media Player and The Matoska Pack Full v1.1.1

Those actually work and play the files. The files don't seem to work real well though... Not sure why. Probably just not real good quality. I'm gonna look around for the DVD somehwere, hopefully i can find it. Thanks for the help.

You could also try VLC, as it will play matroska without any special codecs:

that VLC meida player works fairly well, when i get some free time i'm gonna try converting them to an AVI. Thanks for the help
