I've always liked the Cloud and Aeris relationship. They just go together. I think that Cloud and Tifa already tried the relationship thing in the past and it didn't work so they just stayed pretty close friends.

When would they have had a real chance? Tifa realized she liked Cloud right before he left for the army, the next time they 'met' was at Nibleheim in the reactor, and he was stuck in a tube for five years right after that and she didn't even remember it thanks to the physical trauma she recieved.

i agree! cloud and tifa never got the chance that BOTH of them wanted! aeris died anyway...so what's the deal?

Y'know, it would help the more outrageous fan pairings if there was any sort of evidence to suggest that the people might be interested in each other.

Well, my reason for RenoxTifa pairing is quite okay... I really don't think Reno would go for someone like Aeris, or that Aeris would grow to like him if he did. I think with Tifa, she's more willing to give everyone a second chance, whereas Aeris is more stubborn (I don't mean that as a fault). And with Yuffie (even though that's a pairing I don't really care for either, though I do understand its appeal but... one thing at a time) they would have this kind of relationship where they're kind of nasty to eachother but y'know... the love is there XD Basically, I think it's like Reno enjoys getting some kind of reaction out people with things he says. He could embarrass Tifa and piss Yuffie off. Aeris is more well-adjusted and forward (would probably just tell him to eff off) so I don't think she'd put up with his shenanigans.

Zack and Aeris did look good together no AC. Cloud and Tifa seems kinda obvious and for some reason I think the Yuffie should be with Cid or Vincent. But Vincent is, as I said before, best off alone...
