That was my point: it's not 1968. Liberals have voting rights and access to education like everyone else. They need to win an election to get what they want.
But that isn't what this is about. It's about bringing attention to an a injust and immoral war in an attempt to further diminish public support for it, and those waging it.
I have no sympathy for her, I wish she would stay in jail until she rots.
And why is this? Is it because you disagree with her stance on things?
A fifty-dollar fine is hardly enough to make her a martyr. Far from it.
I don't recall anybody refering to her as a martyr.
