But I don't think those involved in the Civil Rights Movement were smiling. You can't claim oppresion if your oppressors make you giggle and then hand you a parking ticket. She's just a media whore.
Meh, hard to argue with that. And, while I truly dislike Bush, and think the war is a waste of time, money and lives, I'm not overly fond of this woman. Granted, she lost a child, and that's hard, but something about her just doesn't sit right with me.
Besides, she wasn't arrested for protesting without a permit, she was arrested for blocking traffic with her protest.
Which, of course, would be why you need a permit.
