In another worlds earth dragon cave, there's this kick ass monster i can't bet for the life of me. It speaks this wierd language and if you are incorect to one of its questions it attacks with earthquake and a but load of other kick ass yellow elements. He is what i like to call a super boss. Any advice.

No, see they aren't straightfoward at all. The first one is in a different language, and i guessed that one, it was to defend. The second is a riddle, i haven't made it any futher.
It is possible to defeat it and if I remember correctly, you will get a sunglasses.
A yellow plate will help a lot.
Ah, yes, the Criosphynx. The "crazy moon language" he's speaking is Latin, and you have to solve his riddles to beat him. Defeating him this way, however, gives you no reward other than the order in which the Chrono Cross must be played.

Alternatively to beating him by solving his riddles, you can just beat the crap out of him. Use your strongest character equipped with a Yellow Plate and he'll be dead in about 10 minutes. Don't worry about reviving your other characters, they are gonna die anyway.
