Seriously though,anyone who thought SE would pass the oppurtunity to milk FFVII further was quite naive.
Personally i don't want a remake but this wont stop me buying/playing it.
I'm curious as to which developer team will finally take the project.

I think FFVII for PS3 is much to early, call me back when it's PS4 and they remade I,II,III,IV,V,VI on PSP/PS3/PS2 or something.

It's way too early for that to be 'worthy' of a remake.
Because ''I'm telling you on this'' when/if they make a remake of VII on PS3, they'll make one of VIII on PS4, the PS4 will be much much more powerful and the VII will complain to have yet another remake.

I'd would be great a remake, just not now.

I don't care too much. I'm getting a 3D FFIV, V AND VI for my DS! I can play it anywhere! If FFVII the remake is for PS3, then I am not buying. For PSP, maybe.

i would love to see a remake, but i agree with hyperion. if square started work immediately and produced it non-stop 24/7 then yeh it'd be out for PS3, but PS4 sounds more likely

I dun think anyone actually thought that. I think the real debate was whether the fan wanted it or not.


The only thing that really excites me here is going to be seeing if they fixed Tifa's character model so her breasts aren't so big that its unrealistic :P

I don't know. The Nintendo was around ten years before being retired. The SNES was around six years. PlayStation and N64, about three or four years. PS2 and X-Box? Only a couple years. So, I anticipate PS3 will be around for three months. Kind of makes spending $600 on it seem stupid, donit?

That's true. But I know one of the slogans for PS3 was "if it can't do it, it probably shouldn't be done." it really is an amazing machine and the capacity for blue rays...we really don't need anything more. Although I remembered looking at Tekken Tag's graphics when that came out and asking "how much better can we get?"

^ Tut. They are too damn big. It's almost as if... they don't suit her, IMO. Like with her personality & the way she carries herself (looking at AC)... if that makes any sense... they don't look like they're supposed to be part of her! & how the braces hold around them like that, they're exaggerated even more.
