It's perverted because it assumes the rest of the community has any right to anything I create or earn, and that by extension they have a right to my time and how I use it. If they decide there's a need of plumbers, it doesn't matter if I want to be a journalist and it doesn't matter if I'm the best journalist the world has ever seen, I'm to be a plumber. Anyone who has any other idea of the practical results of Communism is naive.Originally Posted by FFGuevara
At any rate, the ultimate problem is that it doesn't matter WHAT society you live in, you will still be required to work. And for most people, getting an enjoyable and satisfying job is out of the question. Capitalism is morally preferable, but ultimately more productive (Which brings about the end result of an automated worker society that much quicker.) but also allows at least some people to rise up to a position of wealth where they can give the next couple of generations of their family an easy ride. Which is better than the none which Communism would allow.
