Mob rule (Which is what the highest forms of democracy are.) makes institutionalised racism more than possible. Indeed it makes it pretty much inevitable.

Everyone is in control. such Racist actions cannot be performed since not everyone will agree with it. Especially if the Majority is Atheist. Usually racism is caused by religious beliefs so if there arnt that mant people who are religious how can such belief be performed?

I know plenty of racist athiest people, to begin with. Secondly, am I correct in thinking that every single individual will have the power to veto anything? What if some lunatic decides that life = suffering and therefore vetos the irrigation project?

There is absolutely no way to reconcile the concept of freedom and the concept of owing anything to anyone else, other than their own right to freedom. Responsibility to others is a choice, not a duty.

Exactlly and in Communism its not a duty. Your not forced to choose for others and no one chooses for you.

So how does a Communist society deal with people who simply don't work?
