With the recent accouncing of FFIV for the GBA, I think it's fair to say that in the near future, Square will probably re-release VI for the DS or GBA.
So if and when they do, would you buy it, and what kind of extra features would you like?

By all means! I would be interesting to see how they could incorporate the touch screen.

Well, V is coming for the DS so I wouldn't rule it out.

I'm kinda suprised they went with GBA instead of DS for this one.
I think it has to do with that they're completely remaking III for the DS to use the two screens and everything, and by porting it to the GBA, I'm sure it's a much easier process than making it for the DS, even if it were just a port, just because of the two screens and everything.... and it doesn't seem like they are drawing out the release of these games, like FFIV coming out this year when it was just announced. If they put it on the DS it would have required a lengthier period of time. Those are the reasons I see for the GBA instead of the DS...

They could also just release it for the PSP too.

I'd love to see a remake, but sadly I don't have any "hand"-consoles, so I wouldn't get to enjoy the renewed game if it's done to DS or PSP or GBA x(
However, I would NEVER want to see a ps2 or 3 version with 3d graphics or voiceovers. The idea just seems so horrible (keeping FFX & X-2 voiceovers in mind)...

Also it could have to do with the fact that more people are going to have GBA's and/or DS than the DS alone, meaning more people can play it. Well with that logic, why'd the PSP even come out, that way all the games would be on the DS/GBA and everyone would be all set as well. Or why doesn't every console game come out for every console, so everyone with a console can play it.
