He's too lazy to fix his av for it to conform to the allowed standards. Besides, he's an Admin and can do pretty much what he wants.

It just doesn't seem fair, shouldn't the rules count for all, without any exceptions?

They do for the most part. Someone having a bigger avatar is a pretty silly rule to nitpick about and if it really does bother you I suggest that you reevaluate your priorities. The major rules like no porn and no flaming do apply to everyone. Anyway, in this case there is no favortism going on. If Archie had six sig threads going at once I would have merged them all too.

You do know this is about the difference between having four threads for your work and having one, right? Either way it still gets posted. Or perhaps you are using this small issue to vent your harbored general frustrations? If you feel the rules here are too strict, you are free to either create a feedback thread to discuss the specifics of them in a rational manner, or leave. Be warned, though, the first option would most likely involve a lot of Raistlin.

Depends on who is actually right and if I could annoy the side that's wrong by pointing out who's right. Sometimes (rarely) the Staff readily admits their errors, which takes all the fun out of it.

The rules do apply to all. clout and the other admits merely have the ability to do whatever the hell they want because of their forum permissions. Just like anyone over 8 months or so can edit their own title, but newbies can't. Admins can change their avatar size, but others can't.

I know a lot of this is my fault ( ), I just wanted to show off some of my sigs, but thanks to Del, my threads are merged. But isn't it a good thing that the A&W is increasing in activity? I mean, isn't it nice to see that it's catching up without spam threads?

I personally wasn't thinking about you. You grouped your signatures together in each thread you made based on the thread's theme. However, you made several threads, each with a new theme. I was more worried about those who created a new thread just to show off a newly made signature. Yes, while it does create activity for the forum, I don't think there should be more then one thread just for showcasing signatures.

I want to make a comment on Leeza's reply.

One thread per person is as it should be, but I don't agree with changing the forum description because these signatures are works of art, but once you add in something about signatures then we will more than likely be inundated with those threads even more than we are now.

Alright, I can understand that. Perhaps someone can update the guidelines thread limiting one signature showcase thread per member.
