Actually there is a deeper issue than the religious one, but that is a very significant factor. Nevertheless, the only people around here who know lots about it (As far as I've seen) do so because they care, which means they have a side usually. You won't get an objective answer from one side as far as the other are concerned. For example, I could launch into a tirade about "It does say a lot about the Loyalist mentality that even after we destroy every gun, their still only have the balls to attack us when we are dead or sleeping." or "It does say a lot about the Loyalist mentality that even after we destroy every gun, their still only have the balls to attack us when we are dead or sleeping." but it'd be pointless because we'll just get into a slanging match and neither side will consider the other's points, valid or not.Originally Posted by FFGuevara
Short version: Both sides are childish and petulent and take decades to make concessions. Both sides have made major mistakes, and have blood on their hands. Neither side wants peace, they both want their way, and the real problem is both sides are completely convinced of their own rightness.
