In Canada, University is the theory and College is the practical more or less. You do a trade, go to College, do a something really academic (like philosophy for example) you go to University. There are also some areas where they cross over but that is how I see them anyways. So yeah uni is fun.

University. I managed to find a decent paying job after university, so that's my bias.

Plus here, University is more challenging than college, so you get a better sense of accomplishment and fulfilment. My class was a very tight-knit bunch, so we had a blast.

At college you can get a trade, true. Or you could get a useless diploma or certificate in bookkeeping/kitchen management/administration assistant/computer processing (how to use microsoft office) /(you get the point). yay.
