Ummm...well, the reporters need to be there. Cause you know, if the reporters don't report, people don't know what is going on. If you don't get an idea of what's happening, you are not going to help, and probably the reporters in the news help more to move people to act than by doing it themselves. So yes, I think the squirrel is stupid. Something else would be to critizize the way the media covers this facts, sometimes they get plain morbid or sensationalistic.
