, they're basically saying that the staff is wrong to ban people for repeatedly breaking the rules, and that's just plain retarded.

If him breaking the rules was hugely entertaining to just about everyone then I'd consider totally pointless and a little stupid banning him. But I dont think I've ever read any posts by this guy so I cant say.

Someone who completely ignores dozens of warnings - no matter how entertaining the result - can't be tolerated. It wasn't as if he did one or two things, other people laughed, and he was banned for it. From what I've heard, he was warned constantly, and consistently decided to ignore staff. He fully deserved the result.

The "will of the majority" here do not set the rules. Cid does, and by his authority, so do Staff.

Yeah, I've read the rules. I mean if the Cid's knights and Cid himself should all find this person hugely entertaining and not want him banned then its stupid and I've already mentioned I dont know anything about the situation with this particular spammer so Im not arguing. Im just throwing that point out there.

I wouldn't have this sig if it weren't for usernotes. and my last sig being a good 78 kb too large.

and taking away usernotes is a good punishment for spamming, as it happened to a group of my friends and they were distraught. didn't happen to me as I don't spam anymore.

EDIT: and Rengori, I actually didn't know what it did until I clicked it after I made that post. because before it linked to porn.

For some reason when I read EotW I thought of EoEO in my head (lousy name change). Meh, I still stand by my original opinion. EotW can be pretty bad at times, but it still has a lot of good discussions in there.

No, of course a forum containing mature discussions isn't filled with much more crap than that (although less enjoyable). But if you think EotW contains mature discussion, I'll send that LOL right backatcha.
