some official british guy (wouldn't give his name) has claimed that the insurgency is iraq is backed by iran.

we all see where this is going don't we. "they suppoered 9-11" "they could get nuclear weapons" "they are bombing out troops"

what a convienent way to build this war up.

i always said we were going to war with iran and that's why we had the iraq war. (afghanistan and iraq before border iran and so giving two entry points).

but do we need to be so obvious about trying to start another war?

It's about slowly building up propoganda to the point where it seems normal. At that point, war becomes possible.

But come on, any intelligent person knows that the Bush administration wants to go to war with Iran. However, I don't know if they have the support to do it at this point. I certainly hope not.

Every friggin' comparison to the darkest, most terrible reign in the history of mankind, is an awful and twisted one. By making such comparisons, you are disrespecting the memory of those that died because of that regime. I won't tolerate that.

I'm not saying Bush is a Nazi or that he wants to kill millions of Jews, etc. etc. etc. I'm simply saying that the way hitler went about invading countries is similar to that of bush. Hitler said he did not want to invade Czechoslovakia, but he did. Bush said he does not want to invande Iran, but he does.

Do you know of anyone who invaded a country peacefully? They all do it by force. So, saying 'Bush invaded Iraq the same way Hitler invaded X' is nothing but a pointless, provocative and offensive thing to say. Wanted to, didn't want to, said he would be didn't, said he wouldn't but did... it's politics. What you do means little, and what you say means nothing.
