This is a guide to get you a transparent font that looks good and is still readable.
1. Just get a font you like, and place it where you want on the sig. I suggest having the rest of the sig made before doing the font because I found that you can't move it after you've started. Make sure you get the size exactly how you want and put it were you want it to be on the finished product. I'd also suggest making the font colour something really visible.
2. Put a stroke around it, mine was 2px and I found it works best with that particular font but muck around until it looks good.
3. Get the magic eraser and set it to your font colour, then erase it, leaving the stroke over your background
4. It's now just a matter of erasing the background until the stroke surrounds nothing but transparency. This will be annoying if your background is black or gray. You may have to test the sig on a colourful website a few times to make sure all font is transparent (I just previewed the sig on eoff and it sufficed).
Here is a finished product incorperating the technique. But it doesn't look that good on the eoff skin i'm using.

Enjoy.
