    Default to fight?

today i was asked an interesting question. right now today would i fight and die for what i believed in? i knew what he meant when he asked. if i would be willing to fight against america. my answer which i truly meant was yes.

this worries me. have i know been enraged so much that i would now be prepared to fight the war i have always said was coming?

i knew it was coming i knew at one point i and others would be pushed too far. but i never realised that had already happened.

i'm not going to act on any feelings of revolt i feel. i don't want to be a lone nut. but i know now that today i would have been willing to fight the war i was afraid off.

would anyone else be willing to fight and die for what they believe in if asked to do so today?

If you'd be willing to fight and die against America, then my comrades-in-arms and I would be willing to help you with that.

    The second part, that is.

i am aware of that. but my true fear is of american domination and everything that goes with that.

i would also be preapred to commit treason against my own country. the same is true for them. i think something somewhere pushed me too far. the road of no return. where when the time comes i will not be able to sit back and let the war continue without my input.

It would take a great deal for me to even consider treason against America. It would have to be on a par with Nazi germany or something simmilar. For all it's faults, the U.S. is nowhere near that point.

I think you all missed the point of the thread.

Would I be willing to die for what I believe in? Probably not. I would however probably die to protect those I love.

Yes, I would. And something tells me that with America going closer and closer to hell, and the socialists trying to take over, I might have to within my lifetime.

To fight and die for a cause, one must truly believe that the cause is right. Would I fight and die for America? Probably not. Would I fight and die for those I care about? Most definitely.

Would I be willing to fight for what I believe in? Maybe. Kill for what I believe in? Definitely not. No ideal is worth taking someone's life for. Die for what I believe in? If that is what it takes. Die for someone else? Most definitely. My life means nothing weighed against another.

it is intersting hachifusa that the one thing we agree on is that we will probably end up having to fight against america. it is a shame it will be on opposing sides.

I can't die for something that is already dead.

It depends. I certainly wouldn't go and fight in some foreign country for the sake of more land or oil, but I would certainly defend anyone who tried to run down my street and shoot some children in the face. When it comes to self-sacrifice, I'm rooted firmly in the home. I'd die for people, not ideals.

I'll sacrifice myself for one thing and one thing only: The immediate safety of another Human being (And it'd have to be someone I cared for.). I'll fight for the people I love, and nothing more (Not with arms, at least.) - I don't trust any ideal or any leaders enough to throw myself onto a battlefield of their choosing. (That's why I could never join an army.) By that I mean, I'd defend my street or maybe town against another force, but I wouldn't go any further. (Not only do I not trust another to choose the right battlefield for me, I also don't trust them to ensure the safety of my loved ones.)

I intend to join the army, but it saddens me how we're so in the pocket of the US. I think if a situation ever arose whereupon people were called to fight for or against, I would be against. The nation stands for all that is despicable. Which isn't to say individuals are in any way "evil" but as a whole, and it's government, I believe it to be the "Babylon" which Revelation speaks of. I would fight, kill and die for my beliefs.

I wouldn't die for an idea - only an immediate threat on someone I care for, which could be someone I've never met, but feel solidarity with.
