I am not a Satanist, but I have done research on it, including interviewing Satanist, (for Comparative Religions class). It is very "eye for eye" and symbolic at the same time. If someone hurts their feelings, they may, so something back, or do a "spell" to hurt that person. They may take a picture of that person and burn it, poke holes in with a needle, etc. (almost like a voodoo doll). They are very self-serving. They only care about what they want, and do it when they want. I would tend to call them "Hedonists" before I call them "Satanists".....
Also, Those who think Wicca is stupid; please remember that what helps one person sleep at night, may be dumb to someone else. Please be more sensitive.....
Satanists don't worship evil. In fact, there is alot in it that I agree with.I don't agree with it, and I don't know why people would wish to worship evil, and I think that my being friends with a satanist would be difficult, but thats because I'm a Christian so we'd be friends with completely opposite views. I'd also feel I was being unfaithful to my God. I don't hate satanists, I just don't understand them at all. I try not to hate anybody though.

Define evil. I find the beliefs of satanism to be evil. Some find christiatity to be evil. Its all realative. I really dissagree with pretty much everything that satanism has to offer, as it is the polar opposite to the teachings of Christ. While it was not (supposedly) designed for this, that is how it is.

Yeah, Satanism is just an individualistic ideal mixed with a malevolent tone and dark rituals. As a friend told me, it's Objectivism mixed with Satan Worship.
Seems pretty stupid to me. And I am allowed to think religion in general is stupid, and that doesn't make me closed-minded, thanks.

Satanism, as it were, is very much about individualism. The idea that WE human beings are purely responsible for our own selves. We create our own heavens and hells, we exact our own justice, we define our own existance. Some are strong enough to do that, and they shall rule. Others are weak, and they shall be crushed under those stronger than them.
It's a curious philosophy. One that no society could truly hold on to.... humans are too much a pack/herd species. We can't stand alone, our numbers are our only true strength. Besides, to hold to it fully, one would have to refuse to take care of their own offspring, much less anyone else's.
I guess you could call it evil.
