    Default Please Help, Laptop Issues with FF7

    Hi everyone, I'm very desperate for some help with this one problem that other people apparently had, but i still haven't found an answer for.

    With laptops, because we don't have a numpad enter, button... i've already downloaded the patch to reconfigure the buttons, and everything works fine until I have to name Cloud. When the screen shows to let me change his name, all the controls revert to default, and I can't get out of that screen because I have no button that lets me say 'ok'. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Yes, that can be a problem. Two main ways to solve it: One, make sure your laptop doesn't have a numpad (many laptops overlay a numpad over their standard keys, and by holding a button while you press the corresponding keys, you can access it). Two, plug a regular keyboard into your laptop and use it's numpad to press enter.
