    Default 1st Gen System

Hi guys i need some advice. I plan on getting both the xbox 360 and the PS3. Should I get them on day one or wait a few months after they come out? I've bought every system since the SNES but aways a year after each came out. What do you guys think? Thanks for any input

Continue your tradition and wait a year. You'll have more of a selection of games to select, and you don't have to wait for them too. xD

Apparently, I have been declared banished.

If you want some great deals, buy an Xbox 360 right as the PS3 comes out--to attempt to undermine Sony, you can bet Microsoft will cut prices and offer some sweet packages.

I would say buy the Ps3 first, and buy the 360 after it has been out a while. The Xbox marketing schemes scare me a little bit. Aren't there supposed to be like 2 or 3 different boxes? /shrug

Either way, it seems different, and different scares me. Like everything else with Micro$oft, I would wait for actual consumer reports before buying one.
