    Default Morph Materia

I don't get it. I have read a couple of guides that say that morphing will give u items. Morphing never gives me anything, i have tried countless of times? Am I doing something wrong? I have been playing this games for several years but never understood that one. I tried to morph the ghost under junion for the guide book. but I tried 14 times. Help? Are you supposed to equip it together with something else?

Are you sure that when you used morph it was the finishing blow?

Yes, you have to considerably weaken the enemy and then use Morph. Think of it like catching a Pokémon, or obtaining blue magic for Quina.

It needs to be the finishing blow? Ahh that might explain why it wouldn't work... Thanks red It only inflicts 65 damage so it could take a while Is this normal. I'm at level 50 now.

To sum up what everyone else said, you have to actually kill the enemy with the Morph command. The thing is, when used by most characters, under most circumstances, Morph does very little damage.

That's where Yuffie comes in handy. Her best weapon, the Conformer, which can be found on the Gelnika, dishes out a nearly consistent 9,999 damage when Morph is used.

The Gelnika is the sunken Shinra airship near Junon. After you get the submarine (following the event with the Huge Materia in Junon), submerge and search around for the sunken ship. There's only two noticable objects at the sea bottom that I remember (the other could be a potential spoiler depending on where you're at in the game), and it shouldn't be too hard to find. Look in the underwater canyons.

You'll want to find the Gelnika anyway, for numerous reasons. Inside you can find many goodies, such as a few good weapons, a new Summon materia, and the Double Cut materia. In addition, many of the enemies inside can be Morphed into various *Source items, which permanently raise your characters' stats.

Don't forget Cid's 'Highwind' Limit Manual! Very nice Limit!
Aurora, exhale bloody air! Dark Holy!
