    Default FF1 hack

    I found an FF1 hack awhile back before my Windows bootloader went screwy (I use Linux now). Needless to say, I lost it when I had to reformat my hard drive. I can't find it elsewhere, although I did find a corrupt RAR which DOES contain the file but won't unRAR.

    It's titled something like Dark Warriors, set around 1000 years before the original FF1. The plotline's something to the effect of "Light and justice dominate the world. The light becomes corrupt and burns away life. Lukahn the Sage calls for four Warriors of Darkness to temper the light and halt its corruption."

    Does anyone have an IPS of this, or the URL to download it from? I am willing to hand out my E-mail address if necessary to get hold of it again.

    I believe that hack, as well as many others including my worst two hacks of the game or on this site

    so go there, I have a better hack I've been working on, off and on, for awhile now, but I just got too darn lazy to finish. But I happen to know that Dark Warriors is on that site.

    It's a well known fact I'm uber-generous. Just check below to find out why Incidently that's actually the .ips file renamed so the forum will upload it, so be sure to rename it to it's .ips format.

    The link provided has editors for FF1 and FF2. Apart from that, you should check sites like Zophar.net. It's hard to find such programs though, since most of them concentrate on hacking games to cheat or something even more hideous.

    Now does anyone know where to find a Linux IPS applicator? Google gave me nothing, Zophar only has DOS/Doze.

    Sorry, apparently the title isn't actually "Dark Warriors". Dark Warriors is a color scheme/minor text hack. The one I'm after is far more extensive. For example, Garland's on YOUR side, and you meet him later in the game. Anyone know which one I'm REALLY after?
