I'm not sure that I totally find the appeal in Amano's work. They're pretty, for sure, and in a very recognizable style, but they all start to look the same after a while.

I don't think there would be any reason to re-release any of the games on the Ps3. They just wouldn't be as original as the games they are now..
i agree with necron re relising a ff game would so not be original. but it would still sell like 2 million copys or something in one day sigh......never underestimate the ff fans no truer words have ever been said.
oh and if i would realise a final fantisy game on ps3 id want 6 with the cooler graphics it would rock.

anyways i realli hate reading what everyone in such a long game as ff has to say but is FF IX worth buying. it is good?

well i think for the grand finale if FF12 is gonna be square enix's final fantasy that all of the final fantasies should be made on PS3.
