mmph maybe they should make a final fantasy all-stars and have all the characters from all the games team up or fight each other to seal up all the offshoots cropping up from the old games. then they can put the finishing touches on ff12 and yeah, make it so wonderful that the old squaresoft glory is fully restored.
7 would be my first choice...as long as they added some more side stories or storyline branches to make it continually more interesting.
FF7... Why? Because it's story rocks so much, and I would like som new graphics, and improved battle system (don't remove materia!!!)

And I would love to see more detailed Summons in a Tactics remake!I think Tactics with nice tall characters and fully generated weapons and flashy cg scenes would be nice...the game was kind of underrated for all its being great so maybe they should resurrect it and give it the flash it deserves.As well as having the special members of the party change outfits too when they change to a different class.

FF4 would be nice to see remade, based on the story ive seen so far.
Dont really care to see anything past 7's video remade... ie i think 7-10 are ok enough already.

Defionatly VIII, because it is streets better than any other final fantasy and game for that matter. I do believe that VIII ended well enough that it doesnt need a sequel, but then again it would be brilliant to see them all do another adventure with a new storyline, and with enhanced graffic's.
Another contender should be FFV.

i'd go with the chrono series and xenogears even though they aren't final fantasy. if i had to pick from final fantasy, i'd say viii or maybe I! if they remade I for ps3, they'd have to do some actual character development.

If they were to make any FF, I'd want it to be FF6 under one condition. Rather than doing something expected like giving it next-gen 3D graphics, go in a different direction. If they made FF6 with graphics that truly looked like Amano's artwork, I would not only jump up and down from the sheer joy of hearing about it, I would sell my soul and murder as many people as Square asked me to to get my hands on the game.
