Anyways... out of all the RPGs I've played, the only one I never really even got close to finish was Skies of Arcadia. And the reason is that it can't be taken seriously. No one can take that game seriously. The maincharacter is a playboy, his fellow female friend is a cheerleader... and then there's an old jerk and a shy wimp. It's simply too unserious to be an RPG.
