Yams, do you have many problems with IE at your work? I've always been under the suspicion that IE is actually fully capable of acting on the same level as Firefox when it comes to security, it just doesn't come that way by default. Because I work in a large company and we use IE and I've never once had a problem of a popup or virus on my work PC.

If your network has a very good firewall that doesn't let anything bad through, then yeah, it's tough for even IE to screw much up.

But Firefox is better than IE. Ask any person with any knowledge of computers. When people who actually know about this kind of crap (Unne, Bleys, etc) say "Use Firefox, IE sucks," then I listen if it's not too much hassle, which Firefox isn't (tabbed browsing = love). I'd even switch to Linux, but now that I'm too lazy for.

What's so hard? Download an iso, burn it to a CD, boot off the CD, and thirty minutes later be using a Linux distro. Unless of course you plan on using Gentoo or something similar, in which case be prepared for a long night.

Uni sounds dumb in American accents (But then again, so do most things. ) but it sounds good in our British accents.
