Just do other stuff. I'm usualy either asleep or at college when maintenance is up. (I live in a different time zone)

I play other FFs or read message board or go do other RL things. I've been on a FF II kick lately and I'm enjoying it. I noticed they tweaked the level system on DoS version and it's a far cry from the FFO version. As frustratingly difficult as the game can be I'm still trying to enjoy giving it another run through.
