Reading is great, it's interesting, its time consuming and it makes you smarter (its true, there are thousands of research things out there that state that!) but I'm a pretty slow reader, so it takes me a while to get through a fairly long book...
It took me about a year and a half to read "Wild Swans" (Which is an amazing book and I highly reccomend you all read it, I could write a 2000 word essay on chinese communism after i finished reading that book)
Normally I don't advertise or spam for stuff, but i've decided to set my cause to help a needy forum! so come and join http://s13.invisionfree.com/Fantasy_...ex.php?act=idx

Reading is my life. Freshman-Sophomore year I read practically a book a day, or a book every 2 days, my teachers recommended me books to read because they knew I enjoyed it so much. Junior year I kind of lost my library card so I stopped reading, plus, it was a hard year, but I got a few novels in. This year though, I'm going back to reading a book a day, except for Harry Potter, those are too long to read in a day. >.> But yeah, I've always enjoyed writing and reading, though I'm too shy to show any of my stories. Maybe someday.
