he does kill the aeons but a successful aeon overdrive is worth it.

Just go back to highbridge (towards the save point), and level up. Spend an hour doing this, and you'll have advanced enough sphere levels to beat him.

have no fear blue_fire kid is here.I know what yer goin through it took me a while to beat him too.ok what you need to do is have yuna learn reflect and have tidus use hastaga then you have yuna cast reflect on seymour(i dont know how to spell his name)ok next you need to attack the morti body dont attack seymoure.Make sure yer aeons are in overdrive and use em it will help out ALOT!after he kills them you should use Aurons and Tiduses overdrive and heal as needed oh yeah i fer got because you casted reflect on him every time you kill the morti body it takes hp from seymoure and then tries to heal but instead you get healed YAY IM SO SMART
