    i think they might eventually get together if the game went on after zeromus and the ending sequence but in the game i think its funny when there funking up the airship then edge runs of to flurt with rydia then cid restrains him.

    I don't see why you find this pairing so odd. If you played the game, you'll realize that Edge definately had a thing for Rydia. Besides, its not nearly as bad as the EdgarXRelm thing.

    Personally, I like to think that Rydia doesn't like Edge at all. Things would be more intressting that way.

    Edge ruins the first picture because Rydia is hawt and Edge is just ewwww...

    It's amazing how underdeveloped characters can get together so easily without any of the usual relationship problems. I've yet to see an RPG where the female lead hasn't gotten with the male lead because "she's in a serious long-distance relationship, and feels commited to her boyfriend even though he's so far away and she doesn't get to see him often", as happens in real-life.

    Thats gotta be the worst pairing ever. I absolutely hated Edge and loved Rydia so you can see where im coming from. Kain wouldve been a better one for Rydia.
