Thread: da Vinci drawing

    Default da Vinci drawing

It's apparent that Edea's hat is similar to the helmet worn by the man in da Vinci's sketch here. Do you suppose that it is the inspiration for Edea's? I think so.

Want to know what els is interesting, it was made in 1472 (our time) one century before edea's date in the picture (1572 FFVIII time, check Raine's tombstone). Edea's a renaissance woman, she is a master of magic, a politician, plus she along with Cid organized the whole Garden thing. Is there nothing she can't do?

Nomura stated that he wanted Edea to look positively witchy. Da Vinci's drawing there reminds me more of a helmet a conquistadore might wear xD

This isn't in the title, but you can also post other interesting findings here, I have another-

Did you catch this during the parade scene? I didn't at first, but as the picture shows, you have an hourglass figured woman here with...
I guess that it's in the spirit of the ancient Romans with their phallus' all over their cities.

There are many more. What have you got?

This quite interest me...square is indeed getting ideas/inspirations from greek/norse/roman mythology and even latin.....
I think square staffs thinks that myth's are true?

    A writer once said this:
    "History Became Legend...
    ...Legend Became Myth..."

this words are quite true the only thing that makes people thinks that legends and myth are not true is because of time...

From a writer: "Much that once was is lost... for none now lived who remember it"

yeah the only thing thats left is books....
    (Sorry if it is off-topic)

That painting Da' Vinci made really looks like Edea's head protector gear.

The world of silence maybe a cold and bitter one; like the deep wastes of the arctic regions, it is fit for neither man nor beast. Holding one’s tongue may be prudent, but it is an act of rejection; silence build walls – and walls are symbols of failure.

Actually, you took that from the LotR movies. That was something Galadriel said during the startup.

"History became legend, legend became myth, and for two and a half thousand years, the Ring passed out of all knowledge. Until, when chance came, it ensnared a new bearer."
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
