A questoin about omega ruins

Before u you fight ultima weapon there is this thing that does nothing when u pressed x. what do u do with it?

I think he's talking about that Glyph on the wall. It opens a really skinny pathway behind you i think. I cant quite remember how to do it but i think theres another Glyph somewhere you have to activate first....

You need to activate both of them, then you can jump up this secret place and get a tresure i think.

you have to find both gliths then beat ultima weapon to open the passage . i think it lets you get to omaga weapon.

on ur way down u pass a glyph which does absolutely nothing wen u examine it, and there is a thin path oppostie it. when u get to the area with 4 chests and the last al bhed primer, go left. hug the left wall to find a second glyph. activate that and it will glow. then go back to the first glyph and it will work! it makes a bridge appear on the thin path opposite the glyph!
