Photoshop help

What photoshop does everyone use??? is there a difference in versions and if its CS or not??? what does CS mean???

CS is the most currently version, before CS were just numbers. I think the last Photoshop before CS was 7 or 8. CS is more advanced than the previous one, but they're both still awesome.

thanks rye~~~ i suddenly wanted to learn to use photoshop and make banners and images cause i wanna start up a website look in my LJ if you some more detail...i'm also looking for positions in certain places.

The full name for the latest editon to Photoshop is "Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite 2". It just has more options and more features than the previous ones. It is also known as Photoshop 9 but not as commonly because that is not its real name.

I use CS2. It's not that much more extraordinary than CS. Most of the stuff you wouldn't even notice. Non-destructive resizing and whatnot. Adobe Illustrator on the other hand got a ton of nifty features in it's CS to CS2 update.
