I dont think anyone would notice and it wouldnt effect anything on the impact if they were replaced with something.

Yes, especially after the virtually moogle-less Final Fantasy VIII.

They'd have to take out some sidequests like the moogle letters and Mognet Central and feeding the moogle family and they would have to replace Mene (the moogle that owns Choco) and lots of other stuff and that wouldnt be cool.

Ive never been a fan of moogles (or chocobos for that matter) so to me the game would be the same. Gotta admit though, the moogles look best in this game.
