lol funny story with new york city. I tripped over a rock and got trampled. Had to goto the hospital for six weeks.

sucked./ your most likely to die from that than from a terror attack.

And you'd have a terrible reputation for the rest of your life for defending Saddam. That would be a terrible situation.
Still, if you managed to get him off, you would go down as one of the best lawyers of all time.

I always thought Terrorism was Saddam related.
He supported and funded terrorism... but they aren't exactly in allegiance with him. It's like when some millionaire donates money for charity - it doesn't mean he has any responsiblity over the actual institutes themselves, their operation, or anything of the sort. Saddam was like... a very evil millionaire that helped the wrong kind of organisations, that's all.

Any fear of terrorism is all hype with no merit.
Really, that depends very much on where you're located.

That being said - NYC is a big fecking place, the chances of a terrorist act happening to you or even near you are so amazingly low... I'd be much more worried about being run over or hit by a vehicle, mugged, or even falling from stairs, etc.
When fighting monsters, be wary not to become one yourself... when gazing into the abyss, bear in mind that the abyss also gazes into you." - Friedrich Nietzsche

Im not saying this in a bad way, but NYC is so paranoid. The Empire state building had high security, The statue of liberty had high security, and Central Station, I saw an army soldier, but I dunno if that was for security. And when I mean high, I mean its like heading through Airport customs to get into these places. But I think it was worth it, and its better be safe than sorry.....

i very much sadamma supported al qaeda and i've seen no evidence supporting this. i doubt al qaeda would accept money from him in the same way they would refuse money from america. they had called a jihad on him. a secular leader on muslim land. they were not the bestest of friends.

Saddam's sort of run out of freinds- his followers weren't the fanatical terrorist type. Once they lost, they'll all be running and hiding. After all, MR. Hussein himself was found cowering in a cellar. A mad zealot would go down fighting. Although, Bin Laden didn't, so maybe they wouldn't...
Besides, the chance of terrorism within the US are pretty smal. 9/11, though a tragedy, was a freak occurance, and was mostly due to a lapse in security. Apart from that, any major terrorists attack within the US has been by an American, such as Timothy McVeigh.

What im worried about is that im heading to New York this Friday. And I dont know if I should, maybe travel on the subway, or go on a bus. I think Plane security is so high that its impossible for them to strike using that. But Subways and Buses are so easy to attack.
Anywayz, what should I be thinking......
I'm thinking that you should just go anyway, and if the terrorists actually happen to strike while your their, then thats what your fate is, and you were meant to be there for a reason. Just make sure you know where your going after this life is over, and make sure your going where you want to.
In order to gain, you must lose something of equal value. This is one of many of my beleifs that I beleive are true.

Ah, but Bin Laden managed to escape. It's not known (at least not as far as I'm aware) whether or not he has personally been in conflict with western forces, or what. Still, although it might be noble and heroic to go down fighting, he's not an idiot, and he probably recognizes his value to his objectives. Therefore there is more wisdom in escaping to continue to be able to act down the line.
