In case you can't count thats eight. You only have to fight them if you have them.

Because the Magus Sisters are all summoned at once, they can count as one Aeon. They dont have to be obtained individually like the rest.

it depends how u see it. magus sisters arewjust one aeon but u hva to kill al 3 to win.

If u dont have yojimbo, anima or magus siters u won't have to fight them

the ones you need are the ones you get from the unavoidable temples.these would eb valefor,ifrit,ixion,shiva and bahamut. but the secrets are yojimbo,anima and the magus sisters.

Why does it matter? They can't be difficult, its impossible to lose since everyone automatically has Auto-Life.

If the characters have been leveled enough and are equipped with BDL weapons they can kill the weakers Aeons with physical attacks. For the stronger ones I'd recommend doublecasting Ultima.

Your characters only enjoy the protection of Auto-Life when you are fighting Yu-Yevon, I believe.

No, you have it against the Aeons too. Rikku died durning my fight with Yojimbo, and she came back instantly.

Basically, If you have the Aeon you have to fight them. But it's not hard at all though.
