    Default Speakers... WHY GOD WHY!

    I am Having some serious problems, involving sound. I just bought a new computer, and so I plug my old speakers into it. Sound isnt coming out.... SO I assume it is the speakers, so I buy some BRAND NEW speakers. And they still dont work. I know the jack is working because I can plug headphones in and listen. So does anyone got any answers?

    Check the volume output from Windows/on the speakers? Maybe the headphones are more sensitive Also check the speakers are switched on, some need their own power supply

    I plugged them in, and they worked but got a lot of wierd noises. I called the the speaker company and apperently I got a bad bunch. Just have to switch em out....
