ff 4 hard type
okay so the ff 4 we got in chronicles was the hard version right?
and more or less the script was inproved. But why was the Zeromus sprite kept the same as the snes version. The one i saw online was a bug creature with swords...
will this be added to the ff 4 in gba?
Short explanation: that sprite was from FFIV easytype. The sprite in FFIIus and FFIV (and therefore also FF Chronicles) is the "normal" one.
Yeah, it's important to note that FFIIus isnt Easytype, nor is it just a straight port of FFIV.
Yes, that's not one we like to let slide 'round these here parts. Calling FFIV "FFIV Hardtype" is ok though. It's like saying FFI. There's never been a game called Final Fantasy I, but it's close enough to the truth.

So clarify one thing for me, if I play FF II USA does it have the sprite with swords or the other one?

THE ONLY GAME THAT HAD A SPRITE OF ZEROMUS THAT WAS ANY DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER GAME WAS FFIV EASYTYPE WHICH WAS NEVER AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF JAPAN. The following games all shared the EXACT same Zeromus Sprite:

Final Fantasy IIus
Final Fantasy IV for Playstation
Final Fantasy IV in Final Fantasy Chronicles
