which final fantasy had the best introduction?

My favorite was VIII's intro. I also liked X's and V's (Lenna!).

i loved ff7's intro.

but the ff6 one was classic...you have to love the part in the snow with terra, biggs and wedge walking to Narshe with THAT SONG . great timing..flashy without having to have stupendous graphics.

I love the first part of FF Tactics, it's got one of the best intro movies, then that first battle is always so cool, cause most FF games 'story' battles keep the characters quiet, while FF Tactics, they're always saying something. It adds a litlle 'POW!' to that game.

absolutely. in fact the whole of ff7 is flashy without having to try

and that makes the difference, for me, between ff7/ff6/tactics/most of ff9/a bit of ff8, and... ff10

For me, the one that most stirred my interest was the classic FF VI.

At this point in Final Fantasy IV I always like to take a step back and feel really good about all of the great things I've accomplished in the game. Here is a list of some of the highlights so far:

* Ruthlessly murdered old men and women.
* Stole jewels.
* Got fired.
* Harrassed town folk.
* Wallowed in self-pity.
* Killed a little girl's mother.
* Set the little girl's town on fire.
* Slashed the little girl with a sword, putting her into a coma.

You're shaping up to be one hell of a hero! And to think, you're only about 20 minutes into the game.

FFIV wins, hands down.
